E-Bike Etiquette

To be respectful of the places and people of the Bow Valley, there are some things you need to know. Multi-use trails in and around the Bow Valley can be very busy with a myriad of users. Be prepared to encounter walkers, runners, other bikers, roller skiers, families with pets etc.

When e-biking in the Bow Valley, always wear a helmet, travel at a reasonable and controlled speed, be courteous to slower users, they may not hear or see you coming, keep to the right and ride single file, announce "on your left" or ring your bell and pass with care at a reasonable pace. In addition, you need to follow the rules of the road when riding on the street, so keep that in mind.

If you’ve never been on an e-bike or you aren’t a confident rider, don’t you worry. The staff at Sports Garage will happily give you a tutorial and make sure you’re set up for success before you head out.
