What You Need to Know
Ready to rent an e-bike? Great!
Age & Height
The bikes are good for anyone between 5 ft and 6'3 ft. Minors are welcome to ride, as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a signed waiver.
Group Discounts
Group discounts for 6 or more riders are available. Please call to inquire and reserve your spots!
What Should I Bring?
Helmets, locks, and trunk bags are included in your rental, so no need to bring your own. As for your clothing, be sure to wear closed-toed shoes and pants that are tight to the leg to ensure nothing gets caught in the spokes or gears. Feel free to bring a pack with extra layers, water, and a snack, too. Your fingers might get cold while riding, so gloves can be a good idea on a chillier day. Note: Be sure to bring a credit card for us to hold onto while you're out on your ride.
Where Should I Go?
While you’re planning your adventure, here’s some helpful info on the local terrain:
Our Pedal assist E-Bikes are permitted on all public roadways, paved and multi-use trails in the Bow Valley. Popular e-bike travel routes in and around the communities of Canmore, Banff and Lake Louise can be found at these links:

Please note, e-bikes are NOT permitted on sidewalks or on natural and back-country mountain bike trails such as those at the Canmore Nordic Centre.
What is Proper E-Bike Etiquette?
Good question! Glad you asked.
Multi-use trails in and around the Bow Valley can be very busy with a myriad of users. Be prepared to encounter walkers, runners, other bikers, roller skiers, families with pets etc. in all age and skill abilities.
Remember to always:
-Wear a helmet
-Travel at a reasonable and controlled speed
-Be courteous to slower users, they may not hear or see you coming
-Keep to the right and ride single file
-Announce "on your left" or ring bell and pass with care at a reasonable pace
-Follow rules of the road when riding on streets – signal turns, stop at all traffic lights and stop signs, yield right of way to pedestrians.

There are some things you’ll need to agree to before hopping on your rental e-bike!
Cancellations:
Once you’ve booked your rent, you must cancel more than 24-hours in advance to receive a full refund, less processing fees. You can reschedule your rental at no cost. If your cancellation is due to poor weather, we will re-schedule your booking. If you’re unable to re-schedule and the weather does not permit your ride, we will honour your refund.
Damage:
You are responsible for returning the E-Bike in the same condition as provided to you. At the owner’s discretion, damaged parts or components will be repaired/replaced at your cost and charged to your credit card, at regular shop rates and retail prices for components.
Late Returns:
If you come back over 30-minutes after your booking time has ended, you will be charged a full hour at $10/hour for the extension. While out on your ride, you’re welcome to call and inquire about extending your rental time, but we can’t guarantee you will be able to.
Mechanical Issues:
If you run into any mechanical issues, we will replace your rental bike with a similar bike. If we can fix the bike in a timely manner, we will do that instead. This does not include drained batteries due to usage. If you encounter issues with our bikes, we will extend your rental time to ensure you are compensated for the time lost.
